DRACÊNICAS is a ongoing series captured during research into sustainability and in cooperation with groups that work with peripheral plantations in Brazil, one country with a gigantic diversity and with a focus on preserving nature due to climate change. It was inevitable to record the beauty of landscapes and plants, whether native, ornamental or even shrubs. The color and beauty of the plants are so real that they look artificial.

In these images, it is primarily the most intimate look and the imagination that sees they ready from several shots, however they have to be built and assembled in single images for the external look, that is to make concrete and externalize what was imagined from within.

This series is selected as longlist for Aesthetica Magazine Prize 2024.
